Jimmy Butler Pleads for NBA to Return as He Clowns Goran Dragic in Hilarious Fashion
- Updated: March 18, 2020

Stars all over the NBA have expressed their sadness over the suspension of play due to the novel coronavirus.
On Wednesday, Miami Heat Jimmy Butler had one of the funniest takes on missing the game he loves when he clowned teammate and friend Goran Dragic.
Dragic and Butler are both known to be huge soccer fans. In fact, Butler is close pals with international soccer stars such as Neymar Jr. and Paul Pogba.
Regardless of what Butler has to say about Dragic, there’s no doubt that his rainbow kicking ability is quite impressive. The lighthearted joke at the Slovenian national’s expense is emblematic of the close friendship that he and Butler have built.
Throughout their first season playing together, the two have had nothing but great things to say about each other.
Butler has shouted out Dragic after clutch performances. Dragic has praised Butler as a star who is not afraid to challenge his teammates. In fact, Butler even went so far as to say that Dragic is one of his all-time favorite teammates.
It’s been quite strange since the NBA suspended its season last week. Instead of playoff races starting to heat up, fans and players alike are wondering when the 2019-20 season will start back up, if ever.
Luckily, Heat fans can be sure that there will be no shortage of social media entertainment until they’re finally able to watch the Heat take the court once again.
