Video: Tyler Herro Literally Spins Defender Out of Shoes in Scrimmage
- Updated: August 18, 2019

The Miami Heat are expecting big things from rookie Tyler Herro this season, and a video from a recent offseason scrimmage shows why.
A brief highlight video from the scrimmage includes the University of Kentucky product raining threes and putting on a display of impressive offensive moves. At one point in the video, Herro even manages to literally spin the shoes off of a defender while he advances up the court.
Fans have grown increasingly excited about Herro’s potential after a strong Summer League showing earlier this summer.
It will be interesting to see how much of an opportunity Herro gets to see the court early in his career.
If he keeps putting on moves like these in practice, it will be hard for Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra to keep him on the bench for long.
