Sergio has written about sports on the high school and collegiate level since 2007. His articles may be seen in South Florida’s three major publications: The Miami Herald, The Sun-Sentinel, and The Palm Beach Post. His longest-running gig is writing high school sports for The Miami Herald, which he has done for eight high school seasons. Topics such as education, sports, and fitness are ones he enjoys, but literature and poetry have their place in his heart as well.
