Prior to their final game together, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade spoke about the memories they’ve shared on the court.
James spoke about the moment that he will remember most — his first championship.

“I think it’s my first championship that I won,” James said when asked if there was one memory with Wade that stands out. “My first championship in Miami alongside this guy. That was his second and it was something that we wanted to do. That’s why we came together and being able to hoist that trophy up that night in Miami in front of our fans. It was a night that I will never forget.”
There was nothing subtle about James’ decision to sign with Miami and play alongside Wade and Chris Bosh. His goal was a championship, and in 2012, that dream was realized. It was his first title and it validated James’ decision to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers and join Wade in Miami.
Wade and James have been through a lot as teammates and they’ll have one more opportunity to share the floor. The All-Star Game might not have the same implications of an NBA Finals, but it will serve as one last chance for Wade to throw a lob up to James in transition.
