The Miami Heat are reportedly making point guard Goran Dragic available in trade discussions, according to John Gambadoro of ArizonaSports.com.

Dragic is in the fourth year of a five-year, $85 million contract extension he signed with the Heat back in 2015. The 32-year-old holds a player option worth $19.2 million for the 2019-20 season.
Ever since being acquired by the Heat in February of 2015, Dragic has been a consistent performer. In three and a half seasons with Miami, he has averaged 17.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game. Last season, Dragic was named an All-Star for the first time in his career as he averaged 17.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game while leading the Heat to a 44-38 record.
One of the teams that could potentially be interested in trading for Dragic is the Phoenix Suns. Ironically enough, that is the team that traded him to Miami back in 2015. The Suns are in need of a starting point guard after recently trading away Brandon Knight to the Houston Rockets.
According to Amico Hoops, the Heat would “gladly” give up Dragic in exchange for a first-round pick.
If the Heat were to trade away Dragic, it would leave them with only one true point guard on the roster in Briante Weber, who has only started a total of four NBA games in his career.
