In the midst of ESPN’s documentary on Michael Jordan’s days with the Chicago Bulls, former Miami Heat star Chris Bosh offered a humorous social media take that involved his skill at blocking shots.

The photoshopped image shows Bosh blocking the iconic silhouette of Jordan dunking. The symbol of Jordan, known as the “Jumpman,” has long served as the Hall of Famer’s Nike logo.
Bosh never got the opportunity to block a shot of Jordan’s, since Bosh’s first NBA season was in 2003-04, just after Jordan had retired for the third and final time.
During Bosh’s 13 NBA seasons, he swatted away 932 shots, with 332 of those coming during his six seasons with the Heat. On three occasions, he blocked over 100 shots in a season, including his 101 during the 2012-13 campaign with Miami.
It was during that 2012-13 season that Bosh was part of the last Heat roster to win an NBA championship, with the team’s dramatic seven-game finals victory over San Antonio giving them back-to-back titles.
While Bosh’s two championships don’t reach the level of Jordan’s six with the Bulls, the Heat organization and their fans know very well how important he was to those titles. Even if the created image is fantasy, it offers a small window into what Bosh brought to the Heat.
