After the Miami Heat retired Chris Bosh’s jersey on Tuesday night, fellow franchise icon Udonis Haslem congratulated the big man on Instagram with a thorough and touching post.

Haslem, 38, played with Bosh for six seasons with the Heat. During their time together, the team went to four straight NBA Finals and won back-to-back championships in 2012 and 2013.
As Haslem mentioned in his post, many considered Bosh the most important player within the superstar trio which also included LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. While Bosh didn’t take the big shots or average the glaring statistics, the veteran spaced out the floor, sacrificed stardom and was always reliable when the Heat needed him.
In his 13 seasons in the league, the power forward averaged 19.2 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.
Although it’s not official yet, there’s no doubt Haslem will one day have his jersey retired in the rafters next to Bosh’s as well.
