Dwyane Wade Said LeBron’s 51-Point Game in Miami Was ‘Disrespectful’

While most Miami Heat fans were amazed to see Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James drop 51 points in South Beach on Sunday, one particular member of the franchise wasn’t too impressed: Dwyane Wade.

Wade, 36, wasn’t able to play in the marquee matchup due to the birth of his daughter. While James wasn’t thrilled Wade missed the game, the shooting guard is finally returning to the lineup Tuesday night. The slumping Heat could definitely use Wade, who is averaging a modest 14.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.9 assists this season.

Wade and James, who both came out of the same 2003 draft class, are very close friends. While Wade is coming to the end of his storied career, it looks like James is just getting started. The four-time MVP is putting up 28.8 points, 7.7 rebounds and 6.9 assists in his first season with the Lakers.

Heat fans were able to see the veteran’s dominance live, as James posted a masterful performance with 51 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals on 61 percent shooting from the field. If the three-time champion keeps it up, he might just earn another MVP award.

Although fans were stripped of a match with the two stars, the world will get a final chance to see the two take the same court on Dec. 10 in Los Angeles.
