During the worst season in Lakers history since the team moved to Los Angeles, Wayne Ellington was one of the team’s few bright spots last year.

In 65 games and 36 starts, Ellington averaged 10.0 points per game and shot 37 percent from beyond the arc for a team that desperately needed his shooting abilities.
