Just a short time after Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade connected on a game-winning 3-point shot on Wednesday night, his close friend and former teammate LeBron James delivered a similar shot for his Los Angeles Lakers.
After James’ game concluded, he half-jokingly indicated that he felt his shot was more difficult:

“The degree of difficulty, mine was a little bit more difficult. His was weird. I don’t even know if that was even a shot. It was like, you know how you play Pop-a-Shot, and he had to because he didn’t have no time. Yeah, I think my shot was more difficult.”
The two shots were dramatically different when comparing the situations. In Wade’s case, the Heat were trailing 125-123 and his 3-pointer went in at the buzzer. Meanwhile, James’ Lakers were ahead 120-117 when he delivered the dagger with 31 seconds remaining in the game.
Wade ended his night against the defending champion Golden State Warriors with 25 points, seven rebounds and three assists. During the fourth quarter, Wade contributed 10 points to the Heat’s cause, while his game-winner was his fifth 3-pointer on the night.
James ended his evening against the New Orleans Pelicans with a double-double with 33 points and 10 assists, while also adding six boards.
Of course, any debate about the topic is a subjective one, with a comparison of the videos offering anyone the opportunity to judge for themselves.
Either way, Wade won’t have much time to savor his winning shot since the Heat have a Thursday night game against the Houston Rockets.
