Jimmy Butler When Asked What He Expects From 76ers Fans: ‘To Tell You the Truth I Don’t Care’

Jimmy Butler doesn’t know what to expect from the crowd when the Miami Heat face his former team, the Philadelphia 76ers, on Saturday.

One thing is for sure, though, Butler doesn’t care how the fans will respond when he takes the floor as a member of the opposing team.

Butler’s visit to Philadelphia is sure to evoke plenty of great memories for the four-time All-Star. One particular reason why is because he continues to enjoy a close relationship with Sixers center Joel Embiid.

Last season, Butler was a stabilizing presence for the Sixers with the veteran forward routinely delivering in the clutch on both ends of the floor.

The Sixers could have reached the 2019 Eastern Conference Finals had it not been for Kawhi Leonard’s buzzer-beating shot in Game 7 of the semifinals.

After playing 55 regular season games and 12 playoff games in a Sixers uniform last season, Butler was traded to the Heat this offseason.

After Saturday night’s game, the two teams will meet three more times this season with one more game to be played in Philadelphia on Dec. 18.
