Users will now have the ability to relocate teams from their current city to a major North American city. For example, you would be able to move the Milwaukee Bucks from Milwaukee to Las Vegas.
There will be certain criteria that will need to be met in order to relocate like the population of the city, overall fan interest, and income of the market.

If your application gets approved to relocate your team, the MyLeague and MyGM system will properly integrate the teams in the NBA’s two conferences and six divisions to keep schedules balanced.

4. Improved Draft Lottery
NBA 2K’s lottery system has been completely revamped. Added is the drama and presentation to the whole draft process and the change allows for more suspense that many fans enjoy while watching the draft unfold. This creates a more realistic simulation of the actual draft.
Once the order is determined, the picks get simulated much quicker than before, allowing players to jump right into the summer league.

Teams controlled by CPU are now more advanced and forward thinking as CPU general managers will be true to their team’s current situation. Some teams will be looking to the future, while others will be in win-now mode. This will translate directly to how teams trade, draft, and sign free agents.

Users will now have the ability to poach head coaches and assistants from other teams. Just like in the NBA, you will have the ability to speak with them about an opportunity to join your team.
You will even have the option to hire players as coaches or managers after they’ve played several seasons. Imagine being able to hire someone like LeBron James to your coaching staff?

Before the actual season begins in MyLeague and MyGM, teams will have the opportunity to play in the Samsung Las Vegas Summer League or 2K Summer League.
The setup will mimic a real-life summer league where veterans and rookies alike will be competing for a shot to make the roster.

8. 2K Hoops Summit
This may be one of the best features added to NBA 2K16 as the 2K Hoops Summit is modeled after the Nike Hoops Summit, where the top international and American players, who have not yet gone to college, get to showcase their talent.
It has been confirmed that NBA 2K16 is adding prospective college players and the 2K community’s shared creation. The Hoops Summit will serve as a preview of the top talent coming into the NBA in your next draft.

9. SimCast Live
This new and improved version of SimCast will allow you to coach and make decisions while a game is being simulated. Players will be represented on the court by chips with their faces on them. Users will be able to push on-court initiatives and direct strategy as opposed to watching everything unfold via text.

You heard that right. MyLeague was such a hit in NBA 2K15 that you will now be able to take the mode online in NBA 2K16. You and up to 30 people will now have the ability to compete for supremacy in an online format.
The online mode will feature flex scheduling and all leagues will be private, invite-only leagues.
