It’s no secret that Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade and his son Zaire have a very close relationship with one another.
Of course, another Heat legend who has a relationship with both the elder and younger Wade is Udonis Haslem. Haslem has spent his entire NBA career on the Heat and played with the elder Wade for many years in South Florida.
For that reason, it’s not very shocking to see that Haslem recently pointed out some hilarious trash-talking that went down between the elder and younger Wade.
Though the elder Wade spent many years playing with the Heat and won three championships with the organization, he now has a very different job in the NBA. He currently has an ownership stake with the Utah Jazz.
The elder Wade’s decision to join the Utah organization was a surprise move at first, as many Heat fans hoped that he would eventually join Miami’s ownership group. However, he has seemingly fit in well with Utah and appears to be doing a lot of really impressive work in his post-playing career.
As for the younger Wade, he is playing with the Utah Jazz’s G League affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars. He’s currently averaging 1.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.
Haslem, meanwhile, is having a rather unproductive statistical season with the Heat, though his primary value as of late seems to be more as a team leader off the court than on it. He’s gotten on the court in nine games so far this season and is averaging 2.9 points and 2.0 rebounds per game in those contests.
