The Miami Heat are leaning into the Miami Vice theme with another special edition Sunset Vice jersey. Their brand new uniforms are playing off of Miami’s popular Vice uniforms and they will be part of the NBA’s new “earned” collection of jerseys.
Miami’s Twitter account tweeted out a video featuring Dwyane Wade in the jersey, and they share striking similarities to Miami’s city edition uniforms. The new uniforms feature a pink color scheme, contrasting with the black Vice jerseys.

The Heat will play three games in their Sunset Vice jerseys in late December. They play the Toronto Raptors on Dec. 26, the Cleveland Cavaliers on Dec. 28, and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Dec. 30.
Miami carefully rolled out these jerseys and it appears that they will be difficult for fans to get their hands on. The Heat released a statement via NBA.com stating that the new jerseys will be available via MiamiHeatStore.com on Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 10 a.m.
Only limited quantities of the Sunset Vice jerseys will be available, so fans will have to pounce on these jerseys early or risk missing out on the opportunity.
Unfortunately, these jerseys won’t ship until Dec. 26, so fans won’t be able to stick a Sunset Vice jersey underneath the Christmas tree for a loved one. That being said, these jerseys are worth the wait.
