NBA players such as Miami Heat’s Meyers Leonard are doing their best to stay busy after the recent suspension of the 2019-20 NBA season.

Leonard competed in SLAM’s “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” tournament with high school basketball star Bronny James on Saturday. In one sequence, the Heat forward was hyped as he cheered on James taking down their opponents.

Unfortunately for Leonard’s team, it lost to Ben Simmons’ squad in the tournament. The Philadelphia 76ers star was joined by fellow NBA players Josh Hart of the New Orleans Pelicans and Royce O’Neale of the Utah Jazz.

Five-star recruit Terrence Clarke, who has committed to play for the University of Kentucky next season, was also on Simmons’ team.

Leonard and the James teamed up with other NBA players including Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz, Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls and Mario Hezonja of the Portland Trail Blazers.

The series, which went all the way to seven games, was live-streamed on SLAM’s Twitch account. Simmons and his team emerged victorious with a 4-3 record.
