Hassan Whiteside is now officially part of the Nike family.
The budding young center broke the news himself via Twitter on Thursday morning as he joins Chris Andersen, Chris Bosh, and Amar’e Stoudemire on the list of Nike-endorsed players.
From finally getting his NBA 2K rating up, to engaging in Twitter beef with Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green, Whiteside has had quite the offseason this summer.
The center emerged onto the scene last season as he posted averages of 11.8 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game.
