Udonis Haslem Shows Love to Tyler Herro via Social Media

The Miami Heat beat the Chicago Bulls in overtime on Sunday night, and rookie Tyler Herro was the primary reason why.

Herro notched 27 points, six rebounds and three assists in the game. He scored the Heat’s last 11 points in the contest, capping off his incredible night with a go-ahead 3-pointer with just over 30 seconds left on the clock.

Following Herro’s masterful performance, veteran teammate Udonis Haslem took to Instagram to praise the young talent.

Haslem is one of the Heat’s primary veteran leaders. Considering that, this message certainly means a lot to the University of Kentucky product.

Herro is one of the players that is part of a cadre of Heat youngsters to take the league by storm this season. Others include fellow rookie Kendrick Nunn, second-year player Duncan Robinson and third-year big man Bam Adebayo.

While they are not solely responsible, there is no doubt that all have played large roles in the Heat’s 17-6 start to the season.

Surely, Haslem’s leadership and guidance have continued to encourage Herro and the rest of his young teammates throughout the 2019-20 campaign.
