It’s official.
According to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, shooting guard Dwyane Wade has reached a buyout with the Chicago Bulls as was expected.

Wade was reportedly unhappy with the direction of the Bulls franchise as the team is looking to rebuild after trading away his good friend in Jimmy Butler.
The Miami Heat do have an interest in Wade, however with a couple of caveats. It was reported by Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald that the Heat are interested in signing Wade, but only if he were to accept a bench role on the team:
“The Heat would be interested in Wade under certain circumstances, including if he agrees to a bench role and if he would be willing to play for Miami’s $4.3 million exception.”
The Cleveland Cavaliers, San Antonio Spurs, and Heat are expected to be at the top of Wade’s wish list, with the Oklahoma City Thunder possibly being in the mix as well, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
