Las Vegas Predicts Win Total for Miami Heat’s 2017-18 Season

Josh Richardson, Hassan Whiteside, James Johnson, Goran Dragic

On Tuesday, ESPN’s Ben Fawkes reported that the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook released over/under win totals for the upcoming NBA season. If the bookmakers are to be believed, the Miami Heat will be a factor in next year’s postseason.

The Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook predicted that the Eastern Conference will once again be controlled by the likes of the Boston Celtics with 56.5 wins and Cleveland Cavaliers with 53.5, but the Heat are not far behind with an over/under of 43.5 wins. While the over/under prediction is only 2.5 wins over the Heat’s 41-41 2017 season, based on the predictions for the rest of the league, it would be good enough for sixth place in the Eastern Conference and a ticket to the playoffs.
