Jimmy Butler has been absent during the Miami Heat’s first few games of the year due to the birth of his daughter prior to their opening game.
He broke his silence today with an Instagram post about family.
Butler is likely to return to the court following Miami’s away game at Minnesota. The Heat will return home to take on the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night in what could possibly be Butler’s debut in a Miami uniform.
The Heat have fared well in two games without their new star, going 2-0 with a 19-point win over Memphis and an overtime victory against Milwaukee. Butler will join a backcourt that includes Kendrick Nunn and Goran Dragic, both of whom are averaging over 20 points per game.
