It appears Miami Heat icon Dwyane Wade lost a bit of respect for former teammate Shaquille O’Neal on Saturday.
The big man posted a photo on Instagram that listed the top 10 NBA Finals performers of all time.
While O’Neal said he agreed with the list, Wade made sure to express his disagreement in the comments.
O’Neal, 48, competed alongside Wade in Miami for three-and-a-half seasons.
Perhaps the most puzzling part of O’Neal’s decision to leave off Wade is the fact that he personally witnessed the guard conduct one of the greatest NBA Finals performances ever in 2006.
During the 2006 NBA Finals agains the Dallas Mavericks, Wade put up a ridiculous 34.7 points, 7.8 boards, 3.8 assists and 2.7 steals per game.
Wade, who was just 24 at the time, led the Heat back from an 0-2 deficit to defeat the Mavs in six games. He was named the 2006 NBA Finals MVP.
Since that prolific Finals series in 2006, Wade went on to play in four more NBA Finals campaigns. The veteran concluded his career with three championships under his belt.
As for O’Neal, he too is in the history books. The four-time champion has career averages of 23.7 points, 10.9 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per contest.
