Azam Masood was born and raised in South Florida. While unfortunately missing most of Dan Marino's prime, Azam was raised a Heat fan, though as a child he would prefer to play as them on NBA Hangtime for the Nintendo 64. Eventually Azam was old enough
to understand and focus on basketball, first watching Caron Butler's rookie year on a miserable Heat team then seeing a precocious young squad led by a guy named Dwyane Wade. Azam has written for sites such as HotHotHoops and Heat Beat Miami and is an active member of #HeatTwitter. You can follow him at @AMas92
